Sorry, but I really missed the mentioned thread. I have just searched
all my mailbox (I receive both 'devel' and 'user' sourceforge lists
regularly) by word "KDE" or "SourceForge" in the subject field and I
found nothing! (-except some threads about "when KDE4 version will be
out", or "porting from cvs to svn or git" - which "is all greek to
me" :-) ).
I searched also the articles in the forum and also I didn't find a
similar post. -Where had these mails been published ? (Maybe I
miss/ignore a main source for information about kmymoney -apart the
above mentioned sources, or -maybe- it happened to have problems with my
mail services the period that this thread was published)

Yes, your answers were very clear and useful to me -and I hope to others
too.
BUT,
I feel ONE MORE TIME that YOU are *inappropriately* very offensive
against me (personally) ! You maybe misunderstand my motivations or my
expressions (given that I always have to use lexicon to translate my
thoughts from Greek to English, even for a simple phrase!).
For example, when I put quotes in "participating users" I mean simple
users of kmymoney (like me) that DON'T participate enough (because of
programming ignorance and/or lack of time) and they only publish some
ideas or problems when they try to use the program in the context of
their daily jobs/actions. period.
And yes, during the course of last year I had personal/business
problems, I stopped use/update Kmymoney base for all this period and
now I examine again if it worths to append a huge data-entry to my old
kmymoney data-file (for all my business activities this last year) or to
abandon it. And my decisions depends on the future plans/roadmap of
kmymoney project and particularly if there are possibilities that (in
the near future):
-> there will be easy ways for massive data-entries (i.e. the CSV
importing plugin, a -soon proposed from me- "transaction templates with
formulae" feature, a database converting/parsing front-end, etc)
-> the development team (and mainly you) be convinced that the way the
kmymoney handles and represent transfer transactions is buggy and
incomplete (and I have to mention many bug reports and feature requests
that depends on it!)
-> and if that, after the successful migration to kde4, there are
thoughts in the future to improve the business aspects of the program
(such as the VAT handling, inventory support -alternating the existing
code for stocks-, invoice & orders handling, etc.)
If my "participation" on these DISTURBS you, OK, I Fold!
Anyway, given that "we (the simple "participating users") are not
contributing a patch" (sic - at one of your sharp answers on a previous
thread) maybe we haven't the right to ask and/or comment at YOUR
project!
Bye!
S. Chris
