The IRS W8-BEN form is usually only needed when payments are being made. As
our software is freely licensed no payments are required, and in the case
of KDE any payments would be directed to the KDE e.V. a German domiciled
non-profit organisation (so the form W8-BEN is the wrong one, as that is
for individuals).

The majority of the details that would be required to complete the
appropriate form can likely be found at
https://kde.org/community/whatiskde/impressum/
Should you need any additional details please contact kde-ev-board at kde.org.
