[Kde-pim] unistall kOrganizer

You don't have to reinstall it, that won't help you anyway. The problem is
most likely in your configuration, and removing and installing KOrganizer
will preserve your configuration, hence your problems. You can let KDE
re-generate your configuration by removing (or renaming it as backup). You
can find the configuration in your homefolder, in the hidden .kde folder.
Digg deeper - to ~/.kde/share/apps/korganizer. There the KOrganizer files
should be. Other config files are in ~/.kde/share/config/ and in the folder
~/.kde/share/config/resources.

What should you do:
Exit KOrganizer
Go to each mentioned folder, and move the KOrganizer files to a temporary
location. Thus, move the whole ~/.kde/share/apps/korganizer folder to
~/backup; then the korganizerrc from ~/.kde/share/config/korganizerrc and
the relevant folder(s) from ~/.kde/share/config/resources, all to ~/backup.
Then just restart KOrganizer. This is equivalent to 'removing and
reinstalling' to in windows. Of course, most likely only one of these files
is giving you problems. You can try to figure out which one (eg just the
calender itself? that's the ics file in one of the directories) and only
move that one to a temporary place.

Good luck.
