Stephan,

In theory, checkout the source from branches/KDE/3.5/kdepim, then:
 % cd kdepim
 %make -f Makefile.cvs
 % ./configure
 % make

If you encounter problems feel free to write me personally, or even better,
join us on IRC in #kontact.  I'm winterz in there.
