[Kde-l10n-kn] To minimize translation errors in kbabel

Snehitare,
If you are using kbabel, you can minimize the errors in your translations as
follows-
Go to
Settings -> Configure - Kbabel -> General

And select the following from Automatic Checks

Look for translated context
Check Arguments
Check Punctuations
Check Accelerators
White space translations
Check Equations
Check tags

In case there are such errors, kbabel will show the translated text in red.
Please do correct them before sending across.

Additionally to rule out all bugs, please do the following before sending
across your translated file-

msgfmt -c --statistics name.po

Most of the errors are understandable, except the one on plural forms-

e.g., on my kdelibs4 this is the error I get-
[umesh at diabetix po_files_repository_bkp]$ msgfmt -c --statistics kdelibs4.po
kdelibs4.po:7: invalid plural expression
kdelibs4.po:4818: a format specification for argument 1 doesn't exist in
'msgstr[0]'
kdelibs4.po:5258: a format specification for argument 1 doesn't exist in
'msgstr[0]'
kdelibs4.po:6253: a format specification for argument 1 doesn't exist in
'msgstr[0]'
kdelibs4.po:6285: a format specification for argument 1 doesn't exist in
'msgstr[0]'
kdelibs4.po:6313: a format specification for argument 1 doesn't exist in
'msgstr[0]'
kdelibs4.po:7671: a format specification for argument 1 doesn't exist in
'msgstr[0]'
msgfmt: found 7 fatal errors

You do not have to worry about this error. Please send it as such, there
should be no problem. However, please try to fix other errors.
