sorry for skipping the deadline by 2 days, as i was part of some other activities. anyway, till now i have done the following.

files translated: i have updated the file libkonq.po, libkicker.po, kasbarextension.po with the standard words.
plan for the week ahead: libtaskbar.po.
interesting words: (sorry for not using unicode; i'm on gnome now and do not know how to configure inscript) for 'mouse over', i have used the word 'soochiyadi'.
other issues: a very big issue is editing with Kbabel. basically the problem is that operations 'delete' and 'backspace' in between a word leads to disasters, i think everyone would have faced this issue by now. i think this week i have spent as much time recorrecting the errors that Kbabel has made, as i have actually spent on updating the files with the new words. the only way i figured out of this mess is to copy the whole string once done with changing, go to some other string and come back, by this time the translation would have gone awry, paste the string from the clipboard. this worked well with me.
