[Digikam-users] Local Contrast in Edit

I am running 3.3.0 on openSUSE 12.3 with KDE 4.10.5

The failure to initialize(run) of Enhancement-Local Contrast still seems 
to be lurking under an Edit session, but appeared only after perhaps 20 
edit sessions (digikam not closed/rerestarted)
My manual workflow is:
0. Select photo
1. Edit
2.Transform-Aspect Ration Crop
3.Enhance-LocalContrast
4. Save as new version
5. Close Edit

Then back to 0. After about 20 of these, Local Contrast did not start 
working (lower left progress bar at 0%).
Batch Local Contrast still working.

Unexpectedly (by me), closing and reopening digikam  does not clear the 
issue, Local Contrast still not initializing.
