    I am running 3.3.0 on openSUSE 12.3 with KDE 4.10.5<br>

    The failure to initialize(run) of Enhancement-Local Contrast still

    seems to be lurking under an Edit session, but appeared only after

    perhaps 20 edit sessions (digikam not closed/rerestarted)<br>

    My manual workflow is:<br>

    0. Select photo<br>

    1. Edit<br>

    2.Transform-Aspect Ration Crop<br>

    3.Enhance-LocalContrast<br>

    4. Save as new version<br>

    5. Close Edit<br>

    Then back to 0. After about 20 of these, Local Contrast did not

    start working (lower left progress bar at 0%).<br>

    Batch Local Contrast still working.<br>

    <br>

    Unexpectedly (by me), closing and reopening digikam  does not clear

    the issue, Local Contrast still not initializing.<br>
