Yes, I did. Obviously Jeff has some serious issues, I contacted VLC to find
out what exactly the issue was. Instead of the response from a person with
an apparently low IQ I got from Jeff, I got a reasonable explanation, plus a
copy of the ToS.

What role does Jeff have wrt to Amarok/KDE and why is he the one responding
to entirely legitimate user concerns on behalf of the Amarok group the way
he has? He's not very reasonable at all; just to let you know what his last
response was to me, to quote his last email to me:

Dear dickhead,

A) Fuck off
B) DIAF

I'm off to enjoy my vacation.

--Jeff

I'm not sure, other than being a user with a legitimate request and an
interest in KDE, why Jeff has resorted to being really insulting and profane
in the extreme. In any event, I have voted on Amarok with my feet and will
let the rest of the KDE group know what they are dealing with Jeff
Mitchell. I'm not sure how such treatment legitimizes KDE and Open Source
with new users such as myself. There is really no reason for anyone from
the Amarok group to contact me further, thanks.

But thank-you for your observations and interpretation of the implications;
it's the first time that I have received a reasonable explanation, which is
what I and others have been seeking since the decision not to include SC in
the software was made.

Peace everyone.

Steve
