For me keyboard just stopped working in KDE 4.4.0. But it might be another bug.
For me, I get key events when I keep a key pressed for something around three
secods (still bad enough) and it happens exspecially often when I use gimp. I'm
using Fedora 12 with kernel 2.6.31 at the moment
