I think that might be another bug. The one I (and others) were seeing occurred
when performing certain WM actions and is probably related to grabbing the
keyboard. You shouldn't be able to get any keypresses through (even by
holding), and it should be triggered by some kind of WM action, especially
Alt-Tab.

Maybe try updating your kernel to .32? Christian had something like that and it
went away after a kernel update, so maybe some people are seeing a totally
unrelated kernel/Xorg bug.
