I guess I'll have to take the blame for that one...
I'm not sure why this happens, but I guess what the CanvasView does, is just 
to draw normal and then apply the transformation matrix to the rendered 
picture before dumping the image into screen.
The only way to fix it that I can think of, is to zoom manually.. ie, do our 
own transformations for drawing the rectangles, lines and such things, and 
then setting the font to an appropiate size before drawing.... 
that of course is easier said that done.
