Obviously there are people who think different about this. Why do you want to
prevent that they can configure what they want to see in the menu? Either a
short program name, some combination of displaying both (KDE) or just a pure
generic description (GNOME, only GenericName)? Why do think that Umbrello is
the sole application within KDE that deserve special treatment/inconsistency?
I don't find your reasons very good, please revert.

Which was not the case with my commit.

Perhaps you noticed that I added today many missing generic menu descriptions
and in very few cases changed existing ones. That happend after asking on the
translators mailing list if that would be a big problem. I didn't see negative
comments about, after all it's at maximum one changed/new string per applica-
tion if any which is visible to every user even when he doesn't use the apps.
