Localization of external plugin

Hi!

Sorry that it took me so long. First: Did you remember to run
  python3 scripts/update_plugin_messages.py /path/to/my.pluginmap
(without --extract-only)? This is needed to compile the translation
catalog.

However, doing so with your catalog fails with 38 errors of
"duplicate message definition..." for .es.po

I am not sure, how those got into the .po file. In the .pot file the
message strings in question seem to be unified, correctly. I guess it
is possible that an earlier version of the update_plugin_messages.py
script was not handling this correctly.

I am also not sure, whether there is an automated way to remove the
duplicate messages.

I'll look into this some more, but I'll still be slow in doing so...
Meanwhile, removing the duplicate messages, manually, *should* help
(run update_plugin_messages.py to see the line numbers in question).
