[RkWard-devel] First preview release of 0.4.7

Hi,

I've created a first preview release of the upcoming 0.4.7. While this release 
is not entirely complete, few things are expected to change, and it would be 
nice, if you could do some testing:

--- What will happen next? ---

I plan to create a second preview release on or around Sunday. At that time, a 
release branch will be created in SVN, and the main branch will be open for 
new features, again.

After that, translators will be given roughly a week to update their .po 
files. If you feel you need more time, consider starting your translation 
updates now, based on the .po files included in the preview release. While 
strings are not frozen, yet, few changes are expected before the second 
preview release.

If all goes well, I'll prepare the final release around April 9.


--- What do until then? ---

As mentioned, translators may consider starting their updates, but may wait 
until Sunday for the last few string changes to come in.

All others are invited to do as much testing as they can, to make sure we 
don't release with too many embarassing bugs.

Some updated screenshots would be nice to have. If you'd like to look into 
that, our main screenshot needs are:
- 3 screenshots 1024*768 for 
http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php/rkward?content=14880
- 1 screenshot 800*600 and still showing off at least some cool features for 
http://freshmeat.net/projects/rkward/
- Any number of illustrative or cool screenshots for 
http://rkward.sourceforge.net/?content=screenshots (and maybe also have a 
look at which ones should be removed entirely).

The webpages (and wiki) could need a review for outdated information.

The help pages inside rkward (esp. plugin help pages) might need some editing, 
too. If you could check a few for typos, mistakes, confusing statements, bad 
wordings, etc., it's not too late to fix this, yet.

Probably a lot more things that I can't think of right now. If you could take 
care of some of this, that would really be appreciated.
