Hi again,

well, just shortly after sending my first post to rkward-devel  I read
a note by Thomas Friedrichsmeier that syntx-highligthing part of kate
is substituted by rkward's own, much better, version.
Now  at least I do have a slight idea why building a package for Sarge
might have failed.
But I still wonder where to head from here!?
