Hello,

I am just trying to build a package for Debian Sarge, using dh-make
and other little helpers.
So far I've succeeded to build the rkward.deb. Before doing this I was
trying to install rkward by running ./configure/make/make install and
removed this by make uninstall. Well up to here, everything seems to
be quite good......but....

We trying to install the rkward.deb as root by:

thomas#> dpkg -i rkward_0.3.6-1_i386.deb

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
unterbrochen (broken pipe))
Fehler traten auf beim Bearbeiten von:
 rkward_0.3.6-1_i386.deb
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, to sum up for those who don't speak German, rkward installation
tries to override the file /usr/share/apps/katepart/syntax/r.xml,
which at the same time is also part of package kdelibs-data.

My Debian Sarge system:

gcc-Version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-13)
rkward-0.3.6 (original source package downloaded from SF)
kdelibs-data 3.3.2-6.4
R-2.3.0 (was already installed before build-start)
dh-make 0.38
make 3.80-9

QT-Headers
libqt3-headers 3.3.4-3 Qt3 header files
libqt3-mt-dev 3.3.4-3 Qt development files (Threaded)
libqt3c102-mt 3.3.4-3 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime version)

Not quite sure where to search for a solution, thougth whenever
/configure/make/make install/ will be successfull dh_make should be
too.
Hmm, I obviousely was wrong! Someone to shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance

Thomas
