I agree that delaying everything for a hypothetical benefit is too much, 
especially if we considere that the current release schedule is tied to the 
git migration.

Speaking of that, I think the Git people who want to move on 20th December 
must write all mailing lists in order to make it clear to every KDE 
contributor what is going to happen and when.

Can we as the Release Team ask them to do so?
