some platform specific adjustments can be done (maybe with some file
selectors) but i would like to keep those adjustments at a minimum, mostly for
maintainability reasons.
the target is to look good both on android and be similar/at home both with
material and as its own platform, but at the same time having something
new/peculiar.
If some part causes a lot of confusion to users without having a long
explanation beforehand(the old UI is like a joke joke...), it's perhaps to be
retought a bit in general
