Hmmm. I think that we have already been told, by perhaps 3000+ bug
votes, what we are missing. There are perhaps 50 bugs (SWAG) asking for
the same thing, but they failed to find each other by blaming different
Libraries and sub-modules:

Bug 96431 <https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96431> "Ability to use
mouse buttons for shortcuts", 671 votes, blames KCM.

Bug 48062 <https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48062> "Additional mouse
buttons as TOGGLE SWITCHES (sic) for modifier keys". 1828 votes, blames
KDELIBS/GENERAL (and that's why it got most of the votes). But nearly
all of the comments are asking for mouse shortcuts, #96431; so I'm
counting nearly all of the votes as "actually for 96431", as well". What
remains of this BugID (under the revised, more specific Description) is
an Assistive Technology enhancement request. I request for which I have
great respect, but I don;'t think that it got all of these votes votes.

Bug 171295 <https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171295> "Shortcuts from
additional devices (mouse, lirc, bluetooth, joystick) 425 votes, blames
SystemSettings. I'll Again SWAG more than 90% of those votes to be about
the mouse, and nearly none to be about LIRC and BlueTooth devices.

That's just the top 3, with 2900 votes already. Count their closed
duplicates, count a lot of mouse-oriented konqueror shortcut RFE's, and
I suspect that we reach 4000 votes pretty quickly. From there, proceed
to the people who looked and saw 4000 votes already, and _NOTHING DONE,
IN 10+ YEARS_. They didn't bother voting. Now expand the count from
non-voting Bugzilla members to the wider population of KDE users, and
then to the large number of users who didn't choose us - BECAUSE because
we lack mouse shortcut support.

Yes, I screamed. Sorry, but we deserve it.
