you mention at some point the mouse/keyboard driven concept (because we've
obviously left that behind or something apparently) and that is perhaps a good
start. so WHAT aspect of mouse/keyboard interaction could be improved?

Hmmm. I think that we have already been told, by perhaps 3000+ bug
votes, what we are missing. There are perhaps 50 bugs (SWAG) asking
for the same thing, but they failed to find each other by blaming
different Libraries and sub-modules:<br>

joystick) 425 votes, blames SystemSettings. I'll Again SWAG more
than 90% of those votes to be about the mouse, and nearly none
to be about LIRC and BlueTooth devices.<br>

That's just the top 3, with 2900 votes already. Count their
closed duplicates, count a lot of mouse-oriented konqueror
shortcut RFE's, and I suspect that we reach 4000 votes pretty
quickly. From there, proceed to the people who looked and saw
4000 votes already, and _NOTHING DONE, IN 10+ YEARS_. They
didn't bother voting. Now expand the count from non-voting
Bugzilla members to the wider population of KDE users, and then
to the large number of users who didn't choose us - BECAUSE
because we lack mouse shortcut support.<br>
