in order to use Synchrotron, they'd have to be written in a scripting 
language. 

longer answer: compiled targets are not supported by Synchrotron. while OCS 
suports this (nominally, anyways), i really don't want to see Synchrotron get 
dragged into that world as it means we're going to end up making builds for N 
different platforms. we'll always leave some of our users out in the cold, and 
we'd have to find a way to manage the builds themselves (e.g. hooking into 
OBS)
