it will be the only step. anything more comes at a cost in terms of either 
code complexity (c.f. the theme background provider class, for instance) or 
(at least eventually) configuration UI overhead.

both are out of bounds of what we (those working on and maintaining plasma 
code) have set out as the parameters for design and development of this code 
base.
