I finally got around to testing your patch, it works beautifully :)
The only thing not yet perfect is the combo boxes show their text truncated 
and reserve much space for the word count.
I don't think the numbers are needed in there at all.
Have a look at vocabulary/vocabularydelegate.cpp, there a combobox is created 
with simpler contents (I'm not sure about lessons, but it works well with word 
types).
