 But it should be taken only that far, one should not have such things as hard 
requirements. It's the same like with suggesting that systray should be based 
on XRender pictures - you just realistically can't do that, especially given 
that other options are possible and without any noticeable high cost.

 Ok, good to hear that. My home machine has only GeForce2, where I don't think 
the ARGB redraw problems e.g. in KRunner will ever be fixed, so I'll try to 
do something about the automatic ARGB visual selection in the apps.
