Summary: Insufficient information in KRunner Settings.
           Product: krunner
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: FreeBSD Ports
        OS/Version: FreeBSD
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: panel-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: david usermode org

Version: (using KDE 4.0.80)
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.2.1 20070719 [FreeBSD]
OS: FreeBSD

There is insufficient information about the "Runners" in the KRunner Settings. (Are "Runners" plugins? I think so, but am not sure). Each "Runner" has an info button (button with an 'i' icon), but these only display an About Dialog, and do not provide sufficient information as to the functionality of the "Runner".

The developers who wrote these know what they do, but first time users do not. For example, the first item is "Applications", but it says only "Applications, control panels and services." What does that mean? What does the Applications runner do?

There needs to be better immediately available information. What are runners and what do they do?
