it needs to be put into a subdirectory, with a proper .desktop file. then it 
can be added using plasmapkg quite easily. if it was put into a .zip file then 
one could use Install New Widgets from the GUI, though that's of limited 
utility imho given that the point of this is to offer a file you can easily and 
quickly edit to see the changes in...
