Clicking should not change the picture. Actually, clicking should open it 
in the default picture viewer, just the same as when you click on a 
desktop icon. Personally I requested double clicking as this action 
first, but after some more thinking, the best would probably that it 
follows the System Settings - Mouse - "single/double click to open files 
and folders" configuration, which is set by default to single click.

Well, I guess than you can argue against right click menus on normal 
desktop icons or in the file manager too... As those are generally well 
accepted, why no right click menu on a picture frame?

I think that's a great idea.
