Fixed, the funkiness is due to a server side bug that means that applications 
have to be created as type 'desktop' (in the Optional fields section of the 
registration form) otherwise 'secret' is empty. 

I've updated kfacebook to use this secret and to perform getSession over 
https, following spec.
