If extragear or extragear/plasma is shipped as a module (which I assume 
it will be), then we don't really want a directory in there that isn't 
shipped and has to be excluded from the tarball.  Perhaps a README with 
a pointer to playground/plasma/samples?

I can't think of any reason why I shouldn't be there.
