that's why we won't actually d'n'd a live version of the applet but use the 
included snapshot. this needs to be added to the PackageMetaInfo class ... 
i'll try and do this shortly. and then we can include cute little snapshots 
of the content of the applets... it'll turn into alive applet when it is 
dropped (if at all)

yes, this will be fixed by the "i need configuration!" api
