active work is happening in strigi; nepomuk is supposedly going; tenor might
be depending on scott's moods.

at this point, due to the absolutely abysmal real interest in search, much of
it will almost certainly happen post-4.0. which is sad.

i do plan to expose context based ideas in the desktop regardless. i still
hold that people don't really want to search; they want context.

guess why? people bothering me about it every other day.

talk to scott about it.

so ... they are doing work but the problem is that the website doesn't update?
priorities askew?

he's AWOL

i'm happier working on kde4 and letting the rest take care of itself.

i'm not sure what good that would do you; perhaps you could explain.

i do see the weekly commit digests, the blogs, etc...

oh, the irony. people bugging me about it constantly resulted in me taking
that away. now you have even less information to go by.

users said they wanted to be involved. developers said they wanted to be
involved. what i've experienced is a lot of people wanting things given to
them. the kbfx and kjs developers are a terrific exception here, but other
than that.

again, why? i tried the route of communicating and all it's resulted in is a
whole lot of noise in my inbox. from my perspective there's been a -huge- gap
in the response.

i've communicated these issues via my blog.
