Hi,
after processing lots of feedback from the initial 4.5.0/1.1.0 release, we have put together a first update which greatly increases stability and reliability of the ownCloud client. Updating is highly recommended.
The most important changes:
* [GUI] Allow changing folder name in single folder mode
* [GUI] Windows: Add license to installer
* [GUI] owncloud –logwindow will bring up the log window in an already running instance
* [Fixes] Make sure SSL errors are always handled
* [Fixes] Allow special characters in folder alias
* [Fixes] Proper workaround for Menu bug in Ubuntu
* [Fixes] csync: Fix improper memory cleanup which could cause memory leaks and crashes
* [Fixes] csync: Fix memory leak
* [Fixes] csync: Allow single quote (‘) in file names
* [Fixes] csync: Remove stray temporary files
In addition, we have resolved a packaging problem with the Linux client where conflict files and other unwanted local data would be synced back to the server. If you have updated to 1.1.1 prior to receiving this announcement via your Linux package management system, please update again to make sure you are not affected by this bug.
The update is now available at http://owncloud.org/sync-clients/.
Should you find more issues, please do not hesitate to file a bug report at http://bugs.owncloud.org/.
Please keep in mind that you will need at least ownCloud 4.5.0 to be able to use this version. The client will _not_ work with older ownCloud server installations!
Have fun,
Klaas & Danimo
