If you want to backup your personal resources (tags, ratings, etc...) you
can use this tool:

http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/Neposidekick+service+menu?content=137233

If you have problems with recursive mode you can select directories
individually. Then you can delete all backup files with find:

find -name ..neposidekick_resource* -delete
