Currently there is little work going on in terms of Marble development. I'm 
currently pretty busy with daytime work and it's probably the same with

Honestly, I don't have much experience with this part of the KDE API myself.
Maybe you could ask on the kde-devel mailing list or on IRC (#kde-edu or #kde-
devel).

No idea. Given that this part isn't exactly marble specific it's better to ask 
on a mailing list that deals with generic KDE development questions. :-)

Hm, I'm not quite sure whether I understand your question correctly: Are you 
talking about the visual appearance as a list in the user interface?
If so then I'd prefer to have the items appear in an "Open Recent" child menu 
of the file menu (just like in all other KDE applications).
