Setting up kate.

Hi, O/S Linux Lubuntu. I have used Kate for about 10 years, it corrupted 
a couple of days ago.

I can use it but there is no spell checker now when I open it. I now 
have to press CTRL O to open Kate

and what I get is in the attached screen shot.

I hope you can help? Sincerely. Anthony Johns.

P.S I may have been hacked because of my very controversial work
