Unfortunately all I found is for Debian or Mandrake. No idea why these two 
distros have a libdscaler package.

Hmm, I really hope I get the v4l plugin working with my setup. NVidia drivers 
and Xinerama are not a good environment for v4l and video-overlays :(
Will play with it tonight and report what is broken on this setup (maybe 
somebody else has similar problems on different hardware).

Nice, thanks. btw, there's still a bug, window positions get restored but 
restored y-pos is +window-deco-height. I have this solved somewhere else but 
of course I didn't wrote down _how_ I fixed it :/
