Tried it, currently filters are not working at all anymore:

kdetv: KdetvImageFilterChain::setupChain(): Building image filtering chain.
kdetv: KdetvImageFilterChain::setupChain(): Processing filter: TomsMoComp
kdetv: KdetvImageFilterChain::setupChain(): Filter does not support input
format. Chain invalid.

Either the input format detection is not working anymore or the loaded XFree
"v4l"-module causes problems.

Other than that I have the following problem when using kdetv with v4l plugin
(forced XVideo + shared mem + overlay if possible):

- moving/resizing/reclipping the mainwindow causes massive desktop flicker, at
least kdesktop and kicker repaint themselves all the time. When moving the
window so it shows on both displays or is partially outside the screen then
this flicker happens all the time.
- moving the window very fast leaves partial images on screen
- popupmenu or prefs on my second display often get overpainted by tv-image
- sometimes no image is displayed at all anymore, resize/move/reclipping the
window helps

I'm sure some of these are, at least partially, caused by the drivers manually
copying image data instead of doing real overlay mode (NVidia README says
this is a driver limitation). I'll try it with a single-head setup soon to
see if this improves things.

Btw, tvtime works fine, resize etc. caused no problem here. OTOH tvtime is
pretty barebones when it comes to UI and configurability I think (but at
least it does scaled fullscreen for me) :)

Bye, Stefan aka mETz
