well, i have a ~3year old Hauppauge WinTV Radio and it works fine.

there is a issue with some radio apps that turn off a internal mixer channel 
after exiting, that tv apps don't know about, but that is the only problem i 
know. (well - and the problem that my Athlon 800 can't record at full 
resolution (768x576), or at least i have not yet found a way.

did i misunderstand your question?
