Akarsh,
I can't answer you questions but I wanted to let you know that I am
making some substantial changes in the skycomponents/ directory in
order to add a spatial index to make drawing and finding things much
faster. I've already made some changes to AsteroidComponent.
Jason should be back from his trip to Australia any day now. I'm
working in a separate branch for now and it will be up to Jason
to decide when/if my changes get applied to the main branch. If
you could hold off for a few days before making changes in the
skycomponents/ directory, it might help prevent us from stepping on
one another's toes.
