Hi Stephen,

There hasn't been any changes to the project and this whole situation.
I didn't get any response.

However with respect to building win64 binaries, I was able to
cross-build it locally using the MXE environment. mxe.cc provides
prebuilt libraries for Qt and much more, and in some cases much newer
versions than the prebuilt ones used in the current KST snapshot
builds at Github. I don't think it immediately provides any solution
to the OP question here, many filters seem still missing. But I have a
rather simple and documented way to build this (involving some ugly
manual workarounds) and maybe other people can look at it and improve
it. It has GetData, GSL, NetCDF, HDF5, cfitsio.

I put it here for now, see the README file:
http://toolshed.sourceforge.net/kst/mxe/

Regards,
Tormod
