   That doesn't change the fact that their OS is quickly becoming obsolete.  
It would be nice to see some actual cases of real Kst users who are stuck 
with KDE 3.1 and really can't update.

  For now I think we're compatible except for our .ui files which are probably 
really broken on pre-3.2 Qt versions.  It's very tedious to keep this up 
though.  Also given how broken RedHat9 is in general (really bad issues with 
Gnome, glibc, gcc), it would be nice to see that eliminated as a variable 
from support issues.  I've spent some rather ridiculous amounts of time 
trying to fix Kst "bugs" that turned out to be system issues.

   The bottom line: We're mostly KDE 3.1 compatible but it's becoming tedious 
and the platform is becoming obsolete.  Do we have any cases of deployments 
on RH9 that really can't change?  (HFI is on RH9 presently...)
