Hello,
I just installed Kolab with the sources (same pb with the binaries) though I
always get an error msg :
'could not bind anonymously' and 'Internal Error: could not get
Authentication Information'
this is most annoying because :
13:45:51 root at teddy /kolab/var/apache/log# testsaslauthd -u manager -p
kolab
0: OK "Success."
and because when I start LDAP browser with the following info :
13:48:15 root at teddy /kolab/var/apache/log# cat /kolab/etc/kolab/kolab.conf
|grep php
php_dn : cn=nobody,dc=teddy,dc=gltrade,dc=be
php_pw : M8esoxlk7i/xM
...it connects without any problem !!
on the apache log file, I keep receiving messages like :
[Mon Nov 3 13:30:20 2003] [error] PHP Warning: main(session_vars.php):
failed to open stream: Permission denied in
/kolab/var/kolab/www/admin/include/headfoot.php on line 9
[Mon Nov 3 13:30:20 2003] [error] PHP Warning: main(): Failed opening
'session_vars.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:') in

[Mon Nov 3 13:30:20 2003] [error] PHP Notice: Undefined index:

[Mon Nov 3 13:30:20 2003] [error] PHP Warning: ldap_bind(): Unable to
bind to server: Can't contact LDAP server in
/kolab/var/kolab/www/admin/include/ldap_utils.php on line 90
and when I go to the file, i am no developer, but that seems fine :
/kolab/var/kolab/www/admin/include/ldap_utils.php
89 if ($conn) {
90 $rc = ldap_bind($conn, $_SESSION["php_dn"],$_SESSION["php_pw"]);
I have already tried one suggestion seen on a former post about this same
problem :
/kolab/etc/kolab/kolab -o -v
...and then stop & start, but it did not work.
any help would be greatly appreciated !
Kind Regards,
Pedro Mullor
