I don't think this was a good change. I had 1.0rc1 running fine,
but after installing 1.0, I could not log in from my mail client.
I liked the ability to specify the login name, ie "loflin",
instead of having it be an email address (e.g loflin at nustats.com).
It was also annoying that the UID wasn't shown in the Web
interface, I could not tell what my login-name should be.

Also, after installing 1.0, I couldn't access the inbox (once I
figured out how to log in). Perhaps this was due to Pine trying to
use the email address login name instead of a simple single-word
login name. But I saw a thread about "email folders aren't
created by default" and thought perhaps that meant, even the INBOX
isn't created, now. Is that the case?

For now I'm back to 1.0rc1. What other features were
changed/added in "1.0"? I see new packages added (like getopt,
patch, fsl, etc. Makes me wonder just how much is being changed,
after a supposed "release candidate" (guess it was really another
beta).

Is there a "changelog" file anywhere? That would be useful. I'm
going through old messages looking for info, but that new MARC web
interface to the archives makes it much more cumbersome than the
Mailman web interface. Anyone know of a different kroupware list
archive?
