Isn't that a bit over the top? Does anyone actually care what time of day a

Good point. No good reason. Would the duration then take into account
non-working days from the calendar?

Can the duration be less than a day? Claus wrote :
"Duration is the calendar time of a task."
If a task starts and finishes on the same day, it has a duration of 1. Or?

The only reason I put a task code there is because a system I hope to
integrate kplato with has a task code, which is text and uniquely identifies
the task in the project.

On the whole I think less options is good, and then have an 'advanced' tab for
advanced options. People always complain that KDE has too many options :)
