I don't know if the contents is any good, since I am not so familiar with
the subject.

But what you should all know is that the filter architecture of KOffice
allows a very good framework for loading and saving foreign formats.

Implementing a filter where you go from xml (which is koffice internal) to
another xml is one afternoons work.
