Hi,

it seems we are not the only people who are starting with a
planning-application. I just stumbled over this project:
http://mrproject.codefactory.se/

It seems they have a nice project going and we could take a look at what
they have done for our education. (Although I find their taste in
name-choosing lacking)

As I was searching the mailing-list I could not find any project-planning
schedules, or any discussion about these formats anyway. So I am left
wondering if they are working via 'first get a gui, then finish the
data-structuring'. Which kind of limits the things we can learn from the
project.

I'm simply impressed about the amount of progress we made in these 3 weeks ;)

As for collaberation, I think it would be a mistake to go to Gnome for the
project, it would lose KOffice interoperability. And worse; the functionality
of KDE and QT. Programming without it just takes a lot much more time...

But naturally the code is open, the discussions are open...

Well, anyway take a look, and please tell the rest of us what you think!

To start here is a nice thread about their DTD:
http://lists.codefactory.se/pipermail/mrproject/2001-June/000164.html
http://lists.codefactory.se/pipermail/mrproject/2001-June/000169.html

It might be interesting to contact the person called Camille (
camille@mandrake.com) (s)he seems to be very knowledgable about DTDs and
knows what should be in there for a planning application.

It's intesting to download the zipped mail archive and browse it offline.
