jpegexiforient uses lossless JPEG transformations meaning that the
picture is not re-encoded. So there is no quality loss I still
recommend backing up your stuff before mass converting images...

Besides that there is a lossless JPEG rotater in the KIPI plugins of
KPA if you want to do this on demand in KPA.
