[KPhotoAlbum] 4.0.1: Stacking woes and wishes

Hello,

while using 4.0.1 I came across some stacking issues.
I'm using stacking to bunch up my stitched fotos with the originals
composing the stitched image and the .png/.tif output from gimp.

1 a. "disassemble" a stack yields astonishing results
- Open stack
- Mark all photos in stack
- Right-Click "Remove images from Stack"
=>
Only first photo of stack still visible

Klick that (single) photo
[Delete] -> Asks for removing n photos
see DeleteExStack.png
(I denied the delete in that case)

Stop KPA (and save index.xml)
Restart KPA
"Missing" photos are near the end of the folder contents !
(Probably they were already there, even without the restarting; see below)

1 b.  "disassemble" a stack; take II
- Select closed stack
- Right-Click "Remove images from Stack"
=>
Only first photo of stack was still visible at that position.
The rest of the stack is moved (as stack) near the end of the folder.
(But not to the absolute end.

I can't see a systematic on where exactly the images will end up. E.g.
according to EXIF-data the images from the stack should sort together
and at the position where they were located in the beginning)
So why do the rest of stack end up at the end ?

BTW:
When I have the stack closed, select the stack and click "Remove images
from Stack" I would expect that all images are moved out of the stack.
(somewhat similar to my wishlist item 3., see below)

2. "Set as first image in stack" misbehaves sometimes
Open a stack
Mark all images of the stack and one photo immediately succeeding the stack
Right Click "Merge Images into a stack"
=>
The selected image is appended at the end of the stack
(Ok, fine)

Unselect all images
Select the newly added image
Right click "Set as first image in stack"
=>
The image was moved to the *second* position in the stack, instead of
the first one.

Now I tried to disassemble the stack and build it up newly:
- Selected all images in the stack, while the stack was opened.
- Right-Click "Remove images from Stack"
=> The images in the stack were broken in two parts. The first two
images remained where they were, all the others were moved near the end
of the folder. (Similar to problem 1)

On a second try it worked as expected...
This seems to somehow depend on history

3. Wishlist item: Handle stack as a single item in some context

Select a closed stack
- Ctrl-2 (Annotate several items) doesn't work
- Ctrl-1 (Annotates single item) works, but only annotates the the first
image in the stack.

I would like a way to annotate the whole stack at once, without having
to open it and mark explicitly all images in the stack. (After all I
stacked them in the first place, because they belong together...)

Let me know, if I should open bug tracker entries for those.
I post here first so maybe some things can get clarified before that.

Regards

Martin
