| Hey,

| So now that privacy settings seems to be OK, let's speak of another
| subject :-). With KPA, we can now also tag videos. Great ! I've got a
| lot of these and always secretly wanted to tag (rule, uh uh) them
| all...
|
| Is there somewhere described what KPA should already be able to do
| with videos ? In fact, at the moment, it's a bit difficult to use it :
| * My vids have no thumbnails (well, it has, but they are all the same,
| the default one), so it's almost impossible to know what it is without
| opening it
| * To open it, the only way I found is to "invoke an external program"
| (totem, for me)
Thumbnails should work, if you install
http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=41180

showing the videos in the player should work if you got the right stuff
installed in KDE - no idea what "right" is though.

| So, what I'd like KPA to be able to do is :
| * If I double-click on a video thumbnail, open a defined viewer (maybe
| a config window to define the external prog to use would do the trick
| without a lot of efforts ?)
| * Display a generated thumbnail for each video => for this, under
| gnome (I don't know KDE very well, sorry), this is automatic for any
| video. (Technically, this is achieved by using the little binary
| gnome-video-thumbnailer for thumbnailing in nautilus view e.g.)
|
| My question is : is this already possible (or partly) and so my conf
| is just not the right one, or is it in the roadmap ?
|
| Thanks a lot.
